A vintage Pierre Cardin jewellery set from the 1980s, comprising a matching necklace and bracelet, sourced from one of our favourite local vintage resellers in Notting Hill, London.

Both pieces are made from multiple rows of interlocking gold-plated links, giving the set a lovely weight and movement. The signature Pierre Cardin detail appears at the fastening on both pieces, with the classic toggle closure adding to the design.

Worn together, the set makes quite a statement. Worn separately, each piece can easily become part of your everyday jewellery rotation. We love the necklace with a simple silk V-neck and the bracelet stacked with a watch or worn on its own.

A beautiful example of 1980s costume jewellery — and a rather good way of adding some character to a simple outfit.
