We're super proud to announce that LORA GENE has been fully certified as a member of the growing B Corp!

If you’re not yet familiar with "B Corps", I’m sure you already know a few companies that are: Patagonia, Veja, Ella's Kitchen, The Body Shop. So what exactly does it mean to be a B Corp? In a nutshell, it's about using business as a force for good.

Most companies today judge "success" purely on how much money they make for their owners & shareholders. Companies that are B Corps however, take a fundamentally different approach. They seek to balance purpose with profit. B Corps are for-profit companies, however they operate for the benefit of all who contribute to their success, such as their employees, customers, suppliers, the local community, and of course the planet. In other words, Bcorp companies’ practice “stakeholder capitalism”: They identify their most deeply held social and environmental values, then abide by them, honouring their responsibilities to their employees, customers, suppliers and communities—as well as to the financial health of their investors.

In our time of sustained environmental and social crisis, no business can afford to ignore the effects of its products and operations.
