Gene is a contemporary womenswear label that embodies clean lines, simplicity, conceptual thinking and marries it up with exquisite workmanship, understanding of the female form, intelligent tailoring and design twists.

Lora’s career as a model and a make-up artist has taken her to exotic Istanbul, chic Paris and über-cool New York. Lora and her work embody a little bit of every city. She calls London her home but spiritually she feels like a New Yorker. The chic lines of her work are reminiscent of Paris while her explosive personality is a nod to the East.

Born in a family of intellectuals Lora has had an eclectic up-bringing  between her architect father and cardiologist mother. Her grandfather who was a true renaissance man, worked both as a university lecturer and an artist.

Empowering in a feminine way, Lora’s work is both stand out and accessible, it is something every woman can feel truly beautiful in.
